My Favorite Quotes

Remember when Maria sang about her favorite things in the Sound of Music?

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,

bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,

brown paper packages tied up with strings,

these are a few of my favorite things"

(Hard to not sing those lines, isn't it.......go on.......how about "girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes, snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes........When the dog bites, when the bee stings....")

I have some of my own favorite things that help when the "dog bites and the bee stings" which are some of my favorite quotes, thoughts, and lines I've culled from Lord-knows-where. They encourage, provoke, reprove, and inspire me as they offer me food for thought.
